Pipilotti Rist must not be missed!!

Its been nearly 3 months since I first visited Pipilotti Rist Eyeball Massage exhibition down at the Hayward but its still had quite an effect on me.
The exhibition for me felt like I was stepping back into my kid shoes again. Pipi's use of vivid colour film installations being projected in a number of intriguing and imaginative ways from a small, almost missable screen built into the floor portraying a distressed lady who seemed to be in hell and wanting to get out to someone paddling in shallow waters which was displayed through a glass ball in a hand bag and accompanied to Ninetendo music. Rists use of scale in all her pieces enhances the experience further from films being projected on 10ft strips of cloth to a mock up small scale childs bedroom. This exhibition is a haven from the real world and will leave you elated and inspired. I am urging everyone to go before it finishes on the 8th January, and I'd suggest going on weekday to guarantee fewer people there.
